Confirmation of papers

An official confirmation of accepted abstracts can be downloaded here. The program will be announced in June, after we have received and verified the final versions of the abstracts and we have verified the registration of presenters. We kindly request that at least one author of each abstract registers by May 3. It is a requirement that at least one author of each abstract registers by May 31 for the abstract to be included in the program and the proceedings.

Registration opened

Accepted submissions

The program committee has decided to accept 83 of 98 submissions, based on 294 reviews, for which we thank all PC members. The authors of the accepted papers come from 26 countries. The authors of all submissions will receive notifications on April 6 and registration will open soon. A program with oral presentations, posters and demonstrations will now be put together.

98 abstracts submitted

At the closing of the call for papers, 98 abstracts have been submitted to the conference. This indicates a high level of interest in this event from the scientific community.

Deadline extended

The program chairs have decided to extend the deadline for submission by four days.  The final deadline for all categories of papers is February 19, 23:59 CET.  We thank the many people who have already submitted their contribution!

Call for Papers published

The Call for Papers has now been published and is being announced in various channels. We are hoping for many proposals for presentations.

Keynote speakers

We are happy to announce that three prominent researchers have accepted to give keynote lectures at LCR 2013: Sylviane Granger (Université catholique de Louvain), Scott Jarvis (Ohio University) and John Osborne (Université de Savoie).

Update: Bård Uri Jensen (Hedmark University College) has accepted to be the fourth keynote speaker at the conference.

Reserve the dates

The biannual conference on Learner Corpus Research will be organized in 2013 by the University of Bergen, Norway. It will be held from September 27 to 29 on the beautiful West Coast of Norway. The venue is the historical Solstrand Hotel & Bad at the Bjørnefjord.  A call for papers will be published by Dec. 1, 2012.
